Özet
The aim of this study is to determine the attidues of the students of Gazi Faculty of Education in Gazi University to Curriculum Development and Instruction (CDI) course. The research was designed based on survey model. The target population of the study consists of 65 prospective teachers studying in the department of Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics Education, Turkish Language and Literature in Gazi Faculty of Education in Gazi University in the spring term of 2018-2019 academic year. In the research, 'Attitude Scale for Curriculum Development and Instruction Course', which had been developed by Oğuz in 2012, and included 30 items and 3 subdimensions (contradiction, interest and appreciation) was used. In data analysis, frequency, percentage, Kolmogorov-Smirnov Z Test, Shapiro-Wilk Test, median, arithmetic mean, independent samples t-test, Kruskall Wallis H test, Mann Whitney U Test were used. In the result of the study, it was seen that all the prospective teachers had medium-level attitude to CDI course. Moreover, it was determined that the prospective teachers highly appreciated the course and were interested in it in a medium level although they had medium contradiction attitude to the course. On the issue of what can be done so as to enable prospective teachers to have high-level positive attitudes to CDI course, opinions of prospective teachers and instructors can be received.
