Ortaokul Matematik Öğretmeni Adaylarının Stratejilere Dayalı Problem Kurma Performanslarının İncelenmesi

Özet

Problem çözme ve kurma dünya genelinde matematik eğitimi alanında yapılan çalışmalarda üzerinde önemle durulan konulardandır. Bu araştırmada ortaokul matematik öğretmeni adaylarının 7. sınıf matematik eğitim kazanımları doğrultusunda problem çözme stratejilerine dayalı matematik problemi kurma performanslarının incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda bir devlet üniversitesinde ikinci, üçüncü ve dördüncü sınıf düzeyinde lisans öğrenimi görmekte olan toplam 70 matematik öğretmeni adayıyla serbest problem kurma çalışması yürütülmüştür. Çalışmanın verileri nitel araştırma yöntemleri kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler betimsel analiz yöntemi kullanılarak iki aşamada analiz edilmiştir. Analizin ilk aşamasında kurulan problemler matematiksel olan ve olmayan şeklinde incelenmiş ve matematiksel olan problemler 7. sınıf kazanımları ve içerdiği öğrenme alanlarına göre analiz edilmiştir.  İkinci aşamada ise kurulan matematiksel problemlerin problem çözme stratejileri temelinde değerlendirmesi yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda çalışmaya katılan öğretmeni adaylarının çoğunun matematiksel problemler kurabildikleri belirlenmiştir. Diğer yandan adaylar kazanımlara uygun ve çeşitli problem çözme stratejilerine dayalı matematik problemleri oluşturabilmektedir. Fakat sıradan olmayan ve karmaşık yapıdaki matematik problemlerini kurmaktan çekinmişlerdir.
